Job summary

Regency Pacific Management in Washington is seeking a dedicated CNA to provide quality nursing care and to promote resident rights, dignity, freedom of choice, and individuality. You will offer individualized attention and encourage residents to maintain or attain their highest practical physical, mental, and psychosocial well‑being.

Evening and Weekend Shifts Immediate Available—with a $2,500 welcome bonus (FT)—and the opportunity to live on the island while serving residents.

Qualifications

• CNA certification in the state of employment is required.
• Ability to obtain CPR/BLS card.

Responsibilities

• Follow individualized care plans and provide information to staff with changes and observations.
• Attend to residents' needs including grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, toileting, and mobility.
• Maintain residents' skin integrity by turning immobile residents and applying moisturizers.
• Protect residents' belongings and report missing items per policy.
• Take vital signs and assist with lifts/transfers using proper body mechanics.
• Document care per department policies.
• Follow safety and infection control procedures.
• Communicate respectfully with residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.

You Will

• Ensure individualized care plans are followed and provide care planning staff with specific information, changes, and observations of the residents' needs and preferences.
• Attend to the resident's needs, including; grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, incontinent care, toileting, colostomy care, prosthetic appliances, transferring, ambulation, range of motion, communication, in keeping with the individuals' care requirements
• Maintain each resident's skin integrity to prevent pressure ulcers, skin tears, and other damage by changing incontinent residents, turning, repositioning immobile residents, and applying moisturizers to fragile skin.
• Protect the personal belongings of each resident and promptly report missing items according to established policy.
• Take vital signs, residents' weights, apply creams/ointments, collect specimens, lift, move, and transport residents, using proper body mechanics or lifting devices to prevent accidents.
• Document care in keeping with department policies
• Follow prescribed safety and infection control procedures.
• Communicate and interact tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.

You Currently

• Possess a CNA certification in the state of employment.
• Have the ability to obtain CPR/BLS card.
