Position: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

The CNA is responsible for providing caring and personalized assistance to residents in our community.

Required Experience for CNA:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in healthcare, geriatrics, or working with the elderly preferred.
• Previous experience as a nursing aide preferred.
• Must be a licensed, Certified Nursing Assistant according to state laws.

Accountabilities for CNA:

• Maintain professionalism in attitude, demeanor, and dress.
• Organize effectively and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Interact with residents and staff under all conditions.
• Handle potentially upsetting situations with residents, families, and visitors.
• Work varied hours, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Be prepared for callbacks during emergencies.
• Maintain continuous physical movement.

Responsibilities for CNA:

• Lead and provide 1440 care.
• Review Resident Care Plans at each shift start.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, and mobility of residents.
• Ensure proper documentation and reporting of care and observations.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean environment.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Ensure safety and dignity of residents at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

General Working Conditions:

This role requires standing for long periods, effective communication, and physical activities including lifting up to 25 pounds. Flexibility to work various shifts and travel may be needed.
