Position: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

The CNA is responsible for providing caring and personalized assistance to residents in our community.

Required Experience

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in healthcare, geriatrics, or working with the elderly preferred.
• Previous experience as a nursing aide preferred.
• Must be a licensed, Certified Nursing Assistant per state laws.

Accountabilities

• Maintain professionalism in attitude, demeanor, and dress.
• Organizational skills and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Handle frequent interruptions and interact with residents and staff under all conditions.
• Work varied hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. May be called back during emergencies.
• Perform continuous physical movement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and provide 1440 care.
• Review Resident Care Plans at the start of each shift.
• Assist residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
• Document care given and report abnormal signs or changes in residents' conditions.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain cleanliness of service areas.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Ensure residents' dignity and safety, respecting their rights.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions

Stand for long periods, communicate effectively, lift up to 25 pounds, and occasionally travel between locations. Moderate noise level, requiring appropriate interaction and safety precautions.
