CNA students accepted into the July CNA Training Program at the Mid-Coast School of Technology will have the opportunity to be considered for this CNA Apprenticeship program through Pen Bay! The CNA Apprentice will be paid an hourly rate while participating in the CNA training program and be eligible for health care benefits. All tuition fees and textbooks will be paid by Pen Bay! Students accepted into the Apprenticeship program must sign a 12-month work agreement with Pen Bay Medical Center, Quarry Hill, or Waldo County General Hospital.

Summary: This position consists of 26 hours per week
Under the supervision and direction of the Certified Nursing Assistant Program Instructor and/or Clinical Supervisor, Certified Nursing Assistant Preceptors, and/or long-term care facility’s Charge Nurses, the Apprentice - Certified Nursing Assistant role provides direct care to assigned residents/patients.
