We are seeking experienced nursing assistants to join our Central Staffing Float Pool at Waldo Hospital.
The Central Staffing Float Pool offers a unique opportunity for experienced CNAs to expand their knowledge base and sharpen their skill set. CNAs will have the opportunity to train on various units at Pen Bay Hospital, including medical-surgical, critical care, inpatient behavioral health, and emergency departments. This role requires quick thinking, adaptability, and critical thinking skills to transition effectively between departments.
For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering sign-on bonuses for Clinical Nursing Assistants:
Bonuses are available for candidates hired into full or part-time CNA positions; prorated for part-time, and ineligible for per diem hires. Current MaineHealth employees are ineligible; former employees must have been separated for over 6 months.
Position Summary: This role involves 36 hours per week, night shifts. The CNA will assist in nursing care under RN supervision in various hospital inpatient and emergency settings.
