Job summary

The Margaret E. Moul Home is seeking a dedicated Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) for 2nd shift as part of our neuromuscular care team.

You will support residents with daily activities, transfers, and care planning, working closely with nurses and therapists in a collaborative setting. We offer sign-on and differential pay, shift incentives, and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance and a 401(k) plan.

Responsibilities

The Margaret E. Moul Home is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join our team on 2nd shift. We specialize in caring for individuals with cerebral palsy and other neuromuscular conditions and are committed to providing personalized, high-quality care in a supportive and collaborative environment. As a CNA, you'll have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with our residents, support their daily needs, and make a positive difference in their lives each day.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, personal hygiene, and mobility.
• Safely assist residents with transfers, repositioning, and mobility, including the use of mechanical lifts and adaptive equipment.
• Monitor residents and promptly report changes in their condition, including neurological and muscular status, to the nursing team.
• Maintain a clean, safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents.
• Document resident care activities accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with nursing and medical staff to ensure comprehensive, individualized resident care.
• Follow infection control protocols, safety procedures, and facility policies at all times.
• Support residents in maintaining their dignity, comfort, independence, and quality of life.

Skills & Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification required
• Experience with mechanical lifts preferred, or willingness to learn how to safely operate them
• Prior experience working with individuals with neuromuscular conditions preferred
• Knowledge of neuromuscular disorders and related care techniques preferred

Work Environment

This is an in-person, hands-on position at the Margaret E. Moul Home. CNAs work directly with residents and alongside the nursing and healthcare team in a long-term care setting. This position requires regular on-site attendance and active, hands-on support with residents throughout the shift.
