Hospice of the Bluegrass Inc in Kentucky is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to support patients under RN supervision. You will provide personal care, observe and document patient condition, and help maintain comfort and safety in a hospice setting.

Candidates must be 18+, Kentucky State Nurse Aide registry, CNA training, and able to work independently. A driver's license with reliable vehicle is required.

Competenze

• Must be at least 18 years old and a high school graduate or equivalent.
• Currently registered as a State Nurse Aide with the Kentucky Board of Nursing.
• Completion of a recognized Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) training program.
• One year of experience in a hospital or nursing home setting, preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions, and accurately document care provided.
• Self-directed with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrates empathy for ill, frail, or terminally ill individuals and understands hospice care philosophy.
• Must be a licensed driver with an automobile in good working order.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Location: Boone, Kenton, Campbell, Gallatin, Carroll, and Grant counties

Position Summary:
The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) is an essential member of the hospice care team who works under the supervisor of a Registered Nurse (RN). This role provides personal care and support services to meet the patient’s daily needs, enhance comfort, and maintain a safe environment. The CNA is also responsible for observing the patient’s condition and accurately reporting and documenting observations and the services provided.

Position Qualifications:
