Job summary

Tanner-Health-1 is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide safe, compassionate home-based care to patients under Hospice policies. You will follow the patient plan of care and maintain confidentiality, with supervision from an RN case manager.

The role requires travel, a valid driver's license, and CPR/BLS certification within 30 days of hire. Excellent communications skills and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to travel extensively and work in varied home environments.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, vehicle insurance.
• BLS Certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• One year of related experience; hospice setting preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to drive own vehicle.
• At least two years certified nursing assistant experience with preferably one year experience in the Hospice setting.
• Demonstrates the ability to travel extensively during all seasons and to work in various home conditions / environments as assigned.
• Emotionally mature and stable.
• Good verbal and written communications required.
• Must be able to read and write and be able to follow written and verbal instructions effectively.
• Must be at least (18) years of age.
• Must have and must maintain divers license, reliable transportation, and valid automobile coverage.
• Neat, pleasant demeanor and professional appearance.
• Skilled in nursing personal care and able to cope with family emotional stress and tolerant of individual lifestyles.
• BLS Certification must be obtained within 30 days from hire.
