Job summary

Tanner Health is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our hospice team. You will deliver compassionate in-home care, implement the patient plan of care under the RN, and ensure safety, dignity, and comfort for patients and families.

Applicants must have CNA certification, a valid driver’s license, and be willing to travel extensively. BLS within 30 days of hire, strong communication skills, and reliability are essential in this role.

One year of related experience. Requires a working knowledge of standard practices and procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to drive own vehicle.
• At least two years certified nursing assistant experience with preferably one year experience in the Hospice setting.
• Demonstrates the ability to travel extensively during all seasons and to work in various home conditions / environments as assigned.
• Emotionally mature and stable.
• Good verbal and written communications required.
• Must be able to read and write and be able to follow written and verbal instructions effectively.
• Must be at least (18) years of age.
• Must have and must maintain divers license, reliable transportation, and valid automobile coverage.
• Neat, pleasant demeanor and professional appearance.
• Skilled in nursing personal care and able to cope with family emotional stress and tolerant of individual lifestyles.
• BLS Certification must be obtained within 30 days from hire.
