Job summary

Tanner Health in Georgia is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide safe, compassionate hospice care. You will follow the patient plan of care established by the RN case manager and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

The role requires CNA certification, a valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and the ability to travel extensively across home settings. BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Must have CNA certification and Hospice experience preferred.
• Ability to drive own vehicle and maintain valid automobile coverage.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Drivers license and vehicle insurance required.
• BLS certification to be obtained within 30 days from hire.
• Willingness to travel extensively to patient homes.

Must maintain patient confidentiality at all times. Follow the patient plan of care established by the RN case manager.

Education

• One year of related experience. Requires a working knowledge of standard practices and procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to drive own vehicle.
• At least two years certified nursing assistant experience with preferably one year experience in the Hospice setting.
• Demonstrates the ability to travel extensively during all seasons and to work in various home conditions / environments as assigned.
• Emotionally mature and stable.
• Good verbal and written communications required.
• Must be able to read and write and be able to follow written and verbal instructions effectively.
• Must be at least (18) years of age.
• Must have and must maintain divers license, reliable transportation, and valid automobile coverage.
• Neat, pleasant demeanor and professional appearance.
• Skilled in nursing personal care and able to cope with family emotional stress and tolerant of individual lifestyles.
• BLS Certification must be obtained within 30 days from hire.
