Tanner Health in Carrollton, GA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate hospice care in patients' homes, under the RN case manager's plan. The role requires one year of CNA experience, valid driver’s license, CPR, and reliable transportation to travel between visits.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old, maintain professional appearance, and demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, with BLS to be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Formación

• One year of related CNA experience preferred.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days from hire.

Responsible to provide safe, quality, effective care to all patients in compliance with Hospice policies, procedures, and guidelines set forth by state and federal regulatory departments. Must maintain patient confidentiality at all times. Follow the patient plan of care established by the RN case manager.

Education

• One year of related experience. Requires a working knowledge of standard practices and procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to drive own vehicle.
• At least two years certified nursing assistant experience with preferably one year experience in the Hospice setting.
• Demonstrates the ability to travel extensively during all seasons and to work in various home conditions / environments as assigned.
• Emotionally mature and stable.
• Good verbal and written communications required.
• Must be able to read and write and be able to follow written and verbal instructions effectively.
• Must be at least (18) years of age.
• Must have and must maintain divers license, reliable transportation, and valid automobile coverage.
• Neat, pleasant demeanor and professional appearance.
• Skilled in nursing personal care and able to cope with family emotional stress and tolerant of individual lifestyles.
• BLS Certification must be obtained within 30 days from hire.
