Job summary

Heritage Woods of Charleston is seeking a compassionate CNA to provide individualized resident care according to care plans, assisting with ADLs while promoting independence and dignity. You will report health changes to the clinical team and engage with residents and families in a meaningful way.

Continued education and participation in staff meetings and seminars are encouraged, with a strong emphasis on confidentiality and professional behavior. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Current CNA certification from an accredited program.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional care as dictated by each resident’s care plan.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and dignity.
• Report changes in health status to the clinical team.
• Engage with residents and families in a compassionate, supportive manner.
• Participate in ongoing education through seminars and meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality and privacy of resident information.
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
