Job summary

Azalea Homecare in Gainesville, GA is seeking compassionate CNAs for a Monday–Friday day shift that will transition to full shifts. This role emphasizes hands-on care, patient safety, and dignity, with mentor-led support and opportunities for specialty certifications.

You’ll assist with bathing, mobility, meds reminders, meals, light chores, and companionship, while following infection-control protocols and documenting care in the EMR app.

Qualifications

• Active CNA license in state
• First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on support: bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, transfers.
• Promote mobility and strength: range-of-motion exercises, walking, physician-directed therapy routines.
• Monitor health: check vital signs, track intake, report changes promptly.
• Provide medication cues: remind clients to take meds and document compliance.
• Support daily life: prepare meals, light housekeeping, run errands, provide companionship.
• Advocate for safety: follow infection-control and fall-prevention protocols, document EMR notes.

We currently have an opening in Gainesville for Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–2:00 PM. This position will soon transition to 8-hour shifts, making it a full-time opportunity.

What You’ll Bring
