Job summary

ArchCare seeks a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant to provide non‑professional resident care under RN/LPN supervision in Bronx, NY. You will help with daily living activities, meals, and basic comfort needs while following care plans and safety standards.

The role requires NY CNA certification and a High School Diploma/GED. Day shift hours run 7am–3pm; benefits include accrued leave and retirement plan options.

Qualifications

• Current NY State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) status.
• Experience with activities of daily living and elderly care is preferred.
• Ability to work under supervision and follow care plans.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Transfer residents to and from activities and meals per care plans.
• Serve meals in dining room or apartments and monitor intake.
• Record changes in eating habits and report to supervisor.
• Follow quality and safety standards in daily care.

Job Description

Responsibilities: Under the direction and supervision of an RN or LPN, performs various resident care activities and related non-professional duties for the specific needs and comfort of the aged and those that need our help.

• Assist residents with activities of daily living to include bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Transfer residents to and from activities and meals according to their individual service plans.
• Serve meals to residents in the dining room or their apartments.
• Record and report changes in residents' eating habits to supervisor.
• Promote quality services within company, state and federal regulations.
