Front Porch in Santa Rosa, CA is hiring a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) for full-time, day-to-day resident care. The role runs Wednesday through Sunday, AM shift, with a pay range of $27.65–$29.00 per hour and full-time benefits.

Responsibilities include assisting residents with daily living activities, following nursing policies, and documenting care provided. Requires a valid CNA certification and a HS diploma or GED.

Summary:

Under the direction of the Charge Nurse, DSD and/or DON, the CNA is responsible for performing routine patient/resident care according to policies and procedures and within acceptable nursing standards.

Competencies and skills:

• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
• Ability write simple correspondence

Credentials:

• Certified Nurse Assistant

Education with Equivalent Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED or Some High School Education

Experience with Equivalent Qualifications:

• 0 Year with knowledge of State and Federal regulations
• 0 Year long term care, geriatric and/or rehabilitative nurse
