Job summary

Desert View Care Center in Buhl, ID is seeking CNAs for evening shifts (2 PM–10 PM). We offer on-the-job training, certification support, and a pathway to advancement in a caring, resident-centered environment.

You will assist residents with daily living activities, respond to call lights, monitor meals and safety, and work closely with nursing staff to ensure quality geriatric care around the clock. Competitive pay plus benefits and tuition reimbursement are offered.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification or willingness to become certified within 120 days of employment
• Effective communication with coworkers and residents
• Willingness to learn local, state, and federal laws/regulations in regards to long-term care
• Ability to assist residents with daily living activities

Responsibilities

• Answer residents' call lights to determine needs
• Turn and reposition residents while they are in bed
• Provide physical support to assist residents in daily living activities
• Review dietary restrictions, allergies, and preferences to ensure appropriate diets
• Record food and liquid intake and output as necessary
• Report changes in resident condition to nursing staff and build relationships with residents

Hours: We are currently hiring for Evening Shift 2 PM to 10 PM.

Not certified? No problem! We will train you on-the-job, and help you obtain certification!

In addition, our CNAs can participate in our Nursing Tuition Reimbursement and get $500/month applied towards a nursing program.

• Answer residents' call lights to determine needs
• Turn and reposition residents while they are in bed
• Provide physical support to assist residents in performing daily living activities such as getting in/out of bed, bathing, eating, dressing, using the bathroom, standing, walking, or exercising
• Review dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences to ensure residents receive appropriate diet
• Record food and liquid intake and output as necessary
• Reporting changes in resident condition to nursing staff and develop relationships with residents to ensure their stay is comfortable
