Job summary

Bethany Lutheran Home in Sioux Falls is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and licensed medication aide to join our caregiving team. You will help residents with daily living activities, assist with meals, and provide companionship.

We offer part-time and full-time roles with all shifts available, an hourly starting pay of $19.00 to $24.00 plus shift differentials, generous benefits, paid time off from day one, and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and a licensed medication aide in SD required.
• Compassion, patience, and a desire to work with seniors.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work the overnight shift.
• Must have good attendance.
• Must be available to work every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Provide light housekeeping and cleaning of resident rooms and equipment.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Document care provided and report any changes in resident condition to the nursing staff.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding as necessary.
• Participate in resident activities and recreational programs.
• Attend to all resident personal hygiene and personal care needs, including grooming, hygiene, dining and nutritional needs, mobility, elimination, psychosocial and safety needs.

Location: Sioux Falls, SD

Employment Shift: All Shifts Available. (12- or 8-hour shift options) Part-time and Full-time shifts available

Starting Pay Range: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour + shift differentials. Wage is determined based on years of experience.
