Reunion Plaza Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Tyler, TX is hiring a Certified Nurse Aide to join our care team. Shifts are 6a-6p and 6p-6a, with a salary of $16.00 per hour.

This role supports residents with daily living activities, safety, and compassionate care in a warm, patient-centered environment. Responsibilities include assisting with bathing and grooming, mobility transfers, feeding, toileting, answering call lights promptly, and maintaining a clean, safe living space.

Qualifications

• Must have current Nurse Aide certification and be in good standing with the State of Texas Nurse Aide Registry.
• Ability to understand, remember and carry out verbal and written instructions in English.
• Ability to speak clearly and hear well enough to communicate with residents.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living to promote independence and dignity.
• Assure resident safety.
• Bathe, shower, hair care, nail care, and grooming for assigned residents.
• Follow resident assignment schedule as directed by the charge nurse.
• Lift, move and transfer residents as required.
• Answer call lights promptly.
• Assist or feed residents.
• Maintain residents' cleanliness and continence care.
• Provide a safe, supportive environment for residents.
• Other duties as assigned.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living in order to promote resident independence and dignity.

• To assure resident safety.
• Bathe, shower, shampoo, shave, comb hair, dress appropriately, nail care of any residents assigned
• Follow resident assignment schedule as made out by the charge nurse
• Lift, move and transfer residents as required
• Answer call lights in a timely manner
• Assist or feed residents
• Keep resident clean and dry, toileting or providing incontinent care
• Provide supportive, protective, and safe environments for residents
• Other duties as assigned
