Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily care tasks such as bathing, feeding, dressing, and grooming.
• Support residents’ movement within the facility, including transferring and mobility assistance.
• Carry out duties in accordance with resident care policies and procedures.
• Measure and record vital signs as directed by the Charge Nurse.
• Detect and report situations that may cause resident accidents or injuries.
• Contribute knowledge of residents’ conditions and needs to care plans.
• Observe and report symptoms, reactions, and changes in condition to the Charge Nurse.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; minimum 16 years of age.
• Valid Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) license required.
• Experience in a long‑term care facility preferred.

Physical Demands

• Lifting and carrying loads up to 50+lbs.
• Pushing, pulling, sliding, and transferring residents.
• Standing, sitting, walking, and moving around the facility.
• Speaking, hearing, seeing, and responding to resident cues.
• Driving to site, balancing, kneeling, and small agility tasks such as reaching and turning.
