Job summary

The Regency Integrated Health Services location Southpark Meadows Nursing and Rehab Center in Austin, TX is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for PRN night shifts (10pm-6am). You will provide routine daily nursing care in accordance with resident plans and assessments.

Responsibilities include helping residents with bathing, feeding, mobility, and vital signs, reporting changes to the Charge Nurse, and documenting care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must hold valid Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) license.
• Experience in a long-term care facility is preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.

• Contribute knowledge of resident conditions/needs to care plans.
• Observe and report symptoms or changes to the Charge Nurse.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist resident in customary daily requirements and tasks in care and treatment such as bathing, feeding, dressing, observing intake of food, care of hair, nails, moving residents from area to area, responding to calls
• Carry out duties and responsibilities in accordance with resident care policy and procedure
• Measure and record vital signs as assigned by Charge Nurse
• Detect and report situations that may cause resident accidents or injuries
• Contributes knowledge of resident's conditions/needs to resident care plans
• Observe and report symptoms, reactions, and changes of conditions to residents to Charge Nurse
