Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Medication Technician to provide direct resident care and support the prescribed care plans in our facility in Sanford, NC. You will administer or assist with medications, observe responses, and document changes in residents’ condition according to policy.

The ideal candidate has a Medication Technician certification, CPR/First Aid, a high school diploma or GED, and at least 6 months of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Medication Technician certification from a state-approved program.
• Current CPR/First Aid certifications.
• At least 6 months experience in a similar role.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care according to individualized plans.
• Administer or assist with medication as prescribed.
• Observe residents for responses and adverse effects; report changes.
• Maintain clean, safe environment and infection control practices.
• Document medications, incidents, and observations daily.
