Job summary

StoneBridge Senior Living in Missouri Heights seeks a Certified Medication Technician to assist in administering medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, under the supervision of the nursing leadership.

You will follow facility policies, report medication errors, and help develop procedures to prevent errors, while documenting vital signs and coordinating with the nursing team.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.
• Licensed medication tech with state-approved training and exams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate in an interdisciplinary care setting.

Responsibilities

• Follow facility policies for administering medications to residents.
• Note and report errors in medication administration.
• Assist in developing procedures to prevent medication errors.
• Complete forms, charts, and reports as required.
• Record and report vital signs.
• Notify nursing staff of medication issues.
