Job summary

StoneBridge Senior Living is seeking a Certified Medication Technician to assist in administering medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, under supervision by nursing leadership. You will follow facility procedures, accurately document drug administration, and monitor residents for reactions as part of a collaborative care team.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school education or its equivalent.
• Licensed medication tech with state-approved training and exams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary care setting.

Responsibilities

• Follow facility policies for administering medications to residents.
• Note and report medication administration errors.
• Develop and implement procedures to prevent medication errors.
• Complete forms, charts, and reports as required.
• Accurately measure, record, and report residents' vital signs.
• Notify nursing staff of any medication-related issues or reactions.
• Follow medication card practices and physician orders in the resident’s chart.
• Maintain staffing and scheduling communications as needed.
