Job summary

StoneBridge Senior Living is hiring a Certified Medication Technician to assist in administering medications to residents under physician orders and supervision. The role supports nursing leadership and focuses on accurate documentation and patient safety.

The position emphasizes adherence to facility policies, timely reporting of any concerns, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care in a senior living environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensed medication tech with state-approved training and examination per state law.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary care setting with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Follow the facility's policies and procedures for administering medications to residents.
• Note and report errors in medication administration.
• Assist in developing and implementing procedures to determine and prevent medication errors.
• Complete necessary forms, charts, and reports as required.
• Accurately measure, record, and report residents' vital signs.
• Promptly notify the Charge Nurse, Nurse Supervisor, or Director of Nursing Services of any errors or reactions.
• Follow medication card practices and record orders in the resident’s clinical record.
