Job summary

Ascension Living in Waco, TX (Providence Village, Skilled Nursing) is seeking a Medication Aide to support residents with medication administration under nurse supervision. This role includes maintaining accurate medical records and restocking inventories in a rotating PRN schedule.

You will monitor vitals, document patient responses, provide direct care, ensure resident safety, and initiate corrective action during emergencies. CNA licensure and a Medication Aide credential are required.

Qualifications

• Medication Aide credential obtained prior to hire date.
• Certified Nursing Assistant licensure required for the state of work.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • Medication Aide obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Certified Nurse Aide obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Certified Nursing Assistant licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
