Good Samaritan in Canistota, SD is seeking a Medication Assistant (MA) to deliver resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a charge nurse. Role requires assisting with meals, documenting care, and administering prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse, while maintaining compliance with state regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Must meet state CMA/TMA certification requirements where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse.
