Job summary

Good Samaritan Canistota is seeking a Medication Assistant (MA) to provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a charge nurse. You will assist with basic health care tasks and support residents in daily activities according to each plan of care.

Responsibilities include administering prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse, documenting outcomes, and communicating care needs.

Qualifications

• CNA certification required or CMA/TMA certification as applicable per state.
• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Must meet state-specific continuing education requirements and maintain certifications.
