Job summary

Salyersville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a licensed CNA to work under a nurse in a long-term care setting. You will administer medications per physician orders, supervise LPNs/LVNs/CNAs, and support residents with daily care needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CNA license required.
• Medication Aide Certificate required.
• Ability to communicate with residents and nursing staff.
• Successful completion of State Approved Nursing Assistant Training and Competency Evaluation Program.
• Good standing in the state registry is required.

Responsibilities

• Answers signal lights, bells, or intercom to determine residents' needs.
• Provides direct resident care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assists with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Administers medications per physician orders under supervision.
• Records care accurately and reports changes to the supervisor.
• Maintains infection control guidelines and cleans care areas.
• Participates in periodic in-services and staff meetings.
