Job summary

Irvine Nursing & Rehabilitation in Prestonsburg, KY is seeking qualified aides to administer medications under physician orders and support nursing staff in a long-term care setting. Requires CNA license and Medication Aide Certificate; prior LTC experience preferred.

You will work with physicians to implement orders, supervise LPNs/LVNs/CNAs, and contribute to resident care and care plans. Competitive benefits and scheduling options available.

Qualifications

• CNA license and Medication Aide Certificate required.
• Ability to communicate with residents and nursing staff.
• Prior LTC nursing assistant experience preferred; or equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Answer signal lights, bells, or intercom to determine resident needs.
• Provide direct resident care: bathing, dressing, grooming.
• Assist with daily living activities and mobility.
• Explain procedures and monitor residents’ condition.
• Record and report vital signs and care activities.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident units and care areas.
