Job summary

Topaz Fiscal Services is seeking a licensed CNA with Medication Aide Certificate to work under a nurse in a long-term care setting in Irvine. You will administer medications, provide resident care, and support LPNs/LVNs and CNAs to ensure comprehensive care per physician orders.

Responsibilities include direct resident care, monitoring, documentation, and adherence to care plans, with opportunities for growth and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• CNA License is required
• Medication Aide Certificate required
• State Approved Nursing Assistant Training and Competency Evaluation Program completed
• Good standing in the state registry required

Responsibilities

• Answers signal lights, bells, or intercom to determine residents' needs and keeps call lights within reach
• Gives direct resident care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Explains procedures to residents and assists with daily living activities
• Assists with bowel and bladder functions and prepares residents for appointments
• Transfers and transports residents as needed while ensuring safety
• Records vital signs and documents care provided and daily meal intake
• Maintains cleanliness of residents' units and care areas
• Participates in in-services and staff meetings and adheres to Residents' Rights guidelines
