Job summary

Good Samaritan in Mandan, ND is hiring a Medication Assistant (MA) to provide resident-centered care under a charge nurse. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and administer medications as delegated.

The role requires CNA certification with state Board, and knowledge of CMA/TMA preferences depending on state rules. The position offers varied shifts, potential weekend requirements, and the opportunity to support multiple local facilities within a 75-mile radius,

Qualifications

• 3 months experience in Long Term Care required (6 months preferred).
• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Must have state CMA/TMA certification as applicable.
• Must have active CNA certification in practice state or ability to obtain within 120 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist with resident care under supervision of a charge nurse.
• Record vital signs and administer basic health care under licensed supervision.
• Assist with daily living activities and provide psycho-social support.
• Document care outcomes and communicate changes to the charge nurse.
