Job summary

Good Samaritan in Mandan, ND is seeking a Medication Assistant (MA) to deliver resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under a charge nurse. You will administer prescribed medications, assist with bathing, grooming, mobility, vital signs, and documentation, and support wellness and recreational activities.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, minimum 18 years old, and prior long-term care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 3 months experience in Long Term Care required (6 months preferred).
• A minimum of 12 hours continuing education annually based on state requirements.
• Must have valid driver's license and auto insurance if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Administer prescribed medications as delegated and document outcomes.
• Record vital signs and communicate changes to the charge nurse.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, and mobility.
