Job summary

Good Samaritan in Mandan, ND seeks a Medication Assistant (MA) to provide resident-centered care under a charge nurse. You’ll assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and help manage medications per state rules. Experience in long-term care and CNA/CMA certification are preferred.

The role includes shifts that vary and requires traveling to nearby facilities within a 75-mile radius, with premium pay and weekend/evening differentials as described in the posting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• State-specific CMA/TMA or CNA certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse.
• Record and communicate vital signs and changes in condition.
• Assist with meals, bathing, grooming, and mobility as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness, laundry, and supportive wellness activities.
