Job summary

Good Samaritan in Mandan, ND seeks a Medication Assistant (MA) to provide resident-centered nursing care under a charge nurse. You will administer medications, assist with daily living activities, and document health information while supporting dining, mobility, and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Administers prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse and within their scope of practice as defined by state regulations.
• Documents the outcomes related to resident care, medication administration, behavior, activity, and dietary.
• Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assists with daily living activities and basic health care needs including vital signs and psycho-social support.
• May assist residents with meals and dining and help with transfers and mobility.
