Job summary

The Good Samaritan is seeking a dedicated Medication Assistant (MA) to join the Canistota facility. You will provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a charge nurse, following each resident's plan of care.

Duties include basic health care activities, hygiene, mobility support, and safe task performance. You will administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse, document care outcomes, communicate changes, and support wellness

Qualifications

• Nursing assistant experience in long-term care or similar settings.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Must meet state CNA/CMA certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse.
