Good Samaritan in Canistota, SD is hiring a Medication Assistant (MA) to provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under a charge nurse. You will administer prescribed medications as delegated, monitor vital signs, assist with meals, and support psycho-social needs in a Christian, not-for-profit setting.

The role requires 18+ years old, HS diploma preferred, and CMA/CNA certification as required by state boards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 18.
• 12 hours of continuing education annually.
• State CMA/CNA certification required where applicable (CMA/TMA).

Responsabilités

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Administer medications as delegated by a licensed nurse.
• Document care outcomes and vital signs.
• Assist with meals, bathing, grooming, and mobility.
• Support wellness and recreational activities.
• Perform housekeeping and laundry duties as needed.
