Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have CMA certification in good standing with the State.
• Must have CPR certification.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Comply with the facility's policies and procedures.
• Report suspected resident abuse/neglect immediately to the Administrator/DON.
• Maintain the confidentiality of all resident information.
• Document and chart medications as ordered by the physician or Medical Director.
• Ensure all medications are properly labeled, stored, and dated per policy.
• Assist with removing medications that are discontinued or not in use.
• Follow procedures for drug receipt errors and handling of resident self-administration as applicable.
