Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CMA certification in good standing with the State.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must be able to work beyond normal hours, including weekends/holidays.
• Must be able to assist in evacuation during emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Community policies and procedures.
• Adhere to nursing department policies and procedures.
• Report abuse/neglect immediately to supervisor.
• Maintain resident privacy and dignity during care.
• Accurately prepare, administer and document medications.
• Document medication charting and report errors promptly.
• Follow policies on storage, labeling, and dating of meds.
• Assist in documenting discontinued medications.
