Job summary

Midwest Health Inc. is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to assist in administering medications to residents under physician orders, following nursing standards and facility policy.

The role reports to the RCC/Nurse Supervisor and staff, ensuring safe, accurate medication delivery within the community. You will maintain a clean medication cart and room, document administrations, and observe residents for refusals or adverse reactions while protecting privacy and complying with state

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CMA certification in good standing with the State.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as ordered by the physician, under supervision of nursing staff.
• Maintain medication cart and medication room.
• Document all medication administrations accurately and promptly.
• Observe for refusals or adverse reactions and report them.
• Protect resident privacy and ensure proper labeling, storage, and dating of medications.
