Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent certification required.
• Current Certified Medication Aide Permit required and must be kept on file.
• Minimum six months of full-time wage earning experience as a CMA; nurse aide duties preferred.

Responsibilities

• Distributes and documents detainee medications per policies and prescriptions.
• Maintains pharmacy room security and keeps equipment and stock up to date.
• Administers medications and documents administration in the system; observes patient status.
• Assists with basic patient care tasks and supports medical staff as needed.
