Job summary

Eastgate Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Certified Medication Aide to assist with medication administration for residents under physician and nursing supervision. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and documentation to ensure compliant care within the facility’s policies.

Qualifications

• Licensed CMA with state-approved training and exam(s) as required by state law.
• Ability to provide age-appropriate resident care with professionalism.
• Commitment to teamwork and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare, administer, and document oral/topical medications as ordered.
• Verify medications brought by new residents are examined and identified by physician or pharmacy.
• Follow labeling and charting procedures and assist with medication records as directed.
