Job summary

Recover-Care Healthcare seeks a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to provide routine nursing care and accurately administer medications under supervision. You will help prepare residents for therapy, physician visits, and activities, including transporting them as needed.

You will also document shifts thoroughly, uphold infection control, and maintain a compassionate, professional demeanor while protecting resident rights and dignity.

Qualifications

• Current CMA Certification required.
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English.
• Patience, tact, cheerfulness, and willingness to care for residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist in administration of medications to residents.
• Prepare residents for therapy, visits, and activities, including transport.
• Accurately prepare and administer medications to the correct patient and dosage.
• Assist with hygiene and encourage self-care.
• Follow infection control procedures and document activity each shift.
• Present a professional image and address resident concerns effectively.
• Uphold residents' rights and dignity.
