Job summary

The GEO Group is seeking a dedicated Certified Medication Aide to join our team in a secure facility. You will assist with medication distribution, patient care activities, and ensure documentation accuracy while upholding safety and privacy standards.

Minimum of six months CMA experience and an active CMA permit are required. The role involves direct patient care tasks under supervision and adherence to facility policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current Certified Medication Aide Permit required.
• Minimum of six (6) months of full time wage earning CMA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Distributes and documents detainee/inmate medications in general population and administrative segregation.
• Maintains pharmacy and medication handling security and appropriate inventory.
• Assists in patient care tasks including vital signs, hygiene, feeding, and mobility.
• Supports physicians and nurses during rounds and minor procedures.
