Job summary

Capital Health seeks a Certified Medication Assistant to support Residents in our Assisted Living Program. Under RN supervision, you will administer medications, provide personal care, and help with daily activities while ensuring safety and dignity in a community-based setting.

You will document care, monitor residents’ conditions, and collaborate with RNs, CHHAs, and CNAs to implement care plans. A CNA/CHHA credential and CPR/AED are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or CHHA certification required.
• Complete medication administration training course and pass competency test.
• Possess CPR/AED certification.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and able to document clearly.

Responsibilities

• Assist Residents with medication administration under RN supervision.
• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
• Document in MARs and communicate with nursing staff.
• Supervise CHHAs and CNAs to ensure care plans are followed.
• Schedule and coordinate transportation or medical appointments as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and resident privacy at all times.
• Support wound care as delegated by the RN.
