Job summary

Legend Senior Living® is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (C.M.A.) to support residents with daily living activities and coordinate medication administration. This role emphasizes compassionate care and regular interaction with the nursing team to ensure residents’ comfort and safety.

The position may require evenings and weekends; benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a discretionary scholarship program, with a 401(k) and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Certification to pass medications, as required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assistance with Medications for all assigned residents
• Assisting with the daily care of the residents, including: Personal care, grooming, hygiene, housekeeping, laundering, social interactions, and meals.
• Monitoring the resident’s physical and emotional comfort and responding as needed
• Documenting completed tasks such as: Daily shift report, resident records and negotiated service agreement
• Confidentially communicating clearly to other staff, such as: Urgent needs for the next shift and all concerns to the Health Care Director
