Job Summary:

A Certified Medication Aide (CMA) will administer medications to residents following established policies, procedures, and regulations. Sapphire will provide training and resources to keep the CMA engaged and maintain high-quality skills.

Responsibilities:

• Provide residents with routine daily nursing care and services
• Administer medications as ordered by the care plan
• Seek licensed staff assistance as needed, especially with PRN medications
• Ensure medications are given accurately and timely
• Document all appropriate information properly
• Collaborate with nurse supervisors to monitor residents' condition changes
• Communicate effectively with staff, residents, and families
• Create a supportive, compassionate environment for residents and their families
• Follow facility policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Active CMA license or CNA license with proof of CMA program enrollment
