Job summary

Ascension Living in Manhattan, KS is seeking a part-time Medication Aide to support residents in our Via Christi Village Manhattan facility. You will administer prescribed meds under nurse supervision, monitor responses, and keep precise records while upholding safety and care standards.

Requires a Medication Aide credential; CNA licensure is preferred. This role offers a day shift in a part-time schedule and opportunities for professional development within a supportive, faith-based health

Qualifications

• Medication Aide obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant licensure required (state-specific) preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications to Assisted Living residents under licensed nurse supervision, following established protocols.
• Observe residents for medication response or adverse reactions and promptly report concerns.
• Accurately document medication administration and maintain up-to-date records.
• Promote resident safety and maintain organized medication supplies.
