Job summary

Ascension Living in Wichita, KS is seeking a compassionate Medication Aide/Resident Assistant to provide daily living support, mobility assistance and personal care to residents in the Via Christi Village McLean assisted living facility. You will observe residents, report changes to nursing staff, help maintain a clean, safe environment and support physician-ordered procedures.

Licensure requirements include Medication Aide prior to hire; CNA licensure preferred; high school diploma or GED

• Medication Aide obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant licensure preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on support with daily living activities, mobility, and personal care.
• Observe residents closely and report changes in physical, mental, or emotional condition to nursing staff.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by identifying hazards and promptly reporting safety concerns to nurses.
• Partner with nurses to assist with physician-ordered procedures and resident care.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Medication Aide obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant licensure required relevant to state in which work is performed preferred.

Education:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
