Qualifications

• Proficient in ICD-10-CM coding, filing and record-keeping.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Must demonstrate professional demeanor with customers daily.
• HIPAA and patient confidentiality compliance.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for timely coding of charts per ICD-10 and AHA guidelines.
• Support Health Information Services through clerical, technical and support tasks.
• Assemble medical records and perform daily HIM duties as assigned.
