Qualifications

• Registered Health Information Technologist or Certified Coding Specialist required.
• One year of ICD-9-CM and CPT-4 coding experience required.
• Knowledge of ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS training required.

Responsibilities

• Assign appropriate ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS and CPT codes to medical records.
• Review entire record for all diagnosis and surgical procedures.
• Abstract medical records into the computer system.
